My name is Marcelin Mackendy. l am 26 years old and l was born in Croix Des Bouquets, a locality of Western Haiti.

My parents are from the countryside of Haiti in Petit Goave. My mother still lives there and my father is dead.

I have been a student of the Bridge Scholarship for three years. l studied Industrial Mechanics and maintenance at Canado-Technique (CFPH)  and I received my diploma a year ago. Now I'm getting my specialty in Electronic-mechanics and I am working in an internship at a company named Moulin d’Haiti.

Study with the Bridge Scholarship has been the greatest opportunity for me to save my future and live a better life. When I finished my classic school (High School)  l had no ideas and no hope for going to university. By the grace of God and of this scholarship program my future is secure now. I can say that. Because of the opportunities that have I received l will have the possibility to share it with the other young men in Haiti.

Thank you to Bridge Scholarship, to everyone who gave their time, money, smiles, and encouragement to the students to help them to create a better future.  Your investments are making good changes here!

I am so proud to be one of the beneficiaries of the Scholarship program.

Thank you!
