Good morning all, I'm Nadège Oriska, the newest Bridge Scholarship graduate in Haiti and first from culinary school! It’s a pleasure for me to share with you my passion for cooking and my plan to start my own business.
In January 2022 I will be starting my own business! I will be making cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and more. This is a huge opportunity for me, so first let me share my reasons as to why I am passionate about cooking:
Ever since I was a child I would watch my mother cook and from there I developed the ability to cook.
Cooking is like life because every mistake is an opportunity to improve your abilities. You must be patient and humble to learn from your failures and produce the finest meals.
Cooking helps us grow. If you don’t follow directions, the food becomes too difficult to make.
I spend a lot of time cooking, planning meals, and serving food to others. They are always satisfied and say the cooking was excellent! I am very devoted to my business plan and I think it will help me grow and show me how to move forward in my life.
I think that everyone should have have the opportunity to create their own business. It would change lives and also help our world to be a better place as it would reach many people and extend our different values and knowledge. As I look forward to start my business, I know there will be challenges, but I will give it my very best shot and make it a huge success!
